Chances are that as a student entering college you are feeling excited, overwhelmed, and curious about your new school and home - probably all at the same time. As you arrive at school, I invite you to join us for Lutheran Episcopal Campus Ministry. The LECM student group hopes that we can provide you with a community and source of support as you make the transition into college.
Our weekly meetings are a low-stress time to hang out with other college students just like yourself - other Temple students who share a similar faith commitment and wrestle with many of the same spiritual questions as you do. Many will be freshmen and women just like yourself! Some are Episcopal, others are Lutheran, and many more come from a variety of traditions. We invite you to join us for our weekly Sunday night discussion and worship in the SAC.
College can also be stressful. Please know that I am always available to talk about everything from campus living issues to spiritual journeys. I can even meet you on campus.
I hope that you will take the opportunity to visit our group. Please also take a moment to fill out our online interest form. Things can get kind of hectic at the beginning of the year with moving to campus and we want to make sure we are able to keep you updated about what we are doing. May you have an exciting first year!
